Mothering my children has been the honor of my life.
It has made me, wrecked me, and led me to Jesus. ⠀

Yesterday, as I thought about today [Mother's Day] the story of David & Goliath kept coming back to me. Encouraging me.⠀

a boy ⠀
armed with prayer ⠀
facing and defeating a GIANT⠀
⠀
For that is the way of motherhood. ⠀
Facing our own giants.⠀
Facing our children's giants.
⠀
Hoping, praying, begging.⠀
For patience, strength & wisdom. ⠀
How lucky we are that God hears our prayers.⠀

“You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
